Motorized Ski Storage: A Guide For Getting To The Mountain Faster

The ski and snowboard season is upon us, and it is time to hit the slopes. There is just one small challenge; getting your gear down from storage and packing it in your car. We might not be able to help you pack your car, but we can help retrieve your items from storage.

Current storage options for ski and snowboard gear often requires a ladder, heavy overhead lifting, and multiple people. This is not ideal for getting to the mountains quickly. Fortunately, there is a better option; the Platform Lifter. Accessing your stored gear just became as simple as pressing a button. 

As soon as you are ready to head out, open the MyLifter App on your smartphone or tablet, press the down arrow, and lower your platform. You can lower it to the trunk of your car, to your cargo carrier, or even directly into the bed of your truck. The goal is to make it easier for you to load your stuff and head out.

The second battle is safely storing your gear when you get back. Where do your items usually end up? The front porch? The garage floor? Or, do they stay in the trunk of your car for the unforeseeable future? Fortunately, storing your gear is just as simple as getting it down. Once everything is hooked up, press the up arrow and raise it to the ceiling. This is a great opportunity to let your gear air out, and it will be protected and ready to use the next time you head out. All you have to do is press a button.

At the end of the season you can wax your skis, pull your shoe liners out, place everything on the platform, and raise it to the ceiling until next season.
